Bull’s eye

My initial undergrad practice comprised of re-contextualizing objects, raw materials and tradition extracted from the great detritus of the everyday thereby. fascination with scale and experimentation with diverse materials were formal devices that I employed in my sculptural practice.

This is one of the first ever sculptures i produced as an undergrad student, an appropriation of Picasso’s 1942 sculpture titled “Bull’s head” created from a seat and handlebars of a bicycle.
